Privacy policy

Last updated: October 31, 2026

This policy gives the overall picture of what personal data we process on coudy.app and in the Coudy service, why, where we keep it and who we share it with. We follow KVKK for our users in Turkey and the GDPR for our users in the European Union and the United Kingdom; each has its own notice with the details.

01Who we are

Coudy is a product of Codian Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16333262), with its registered office at Suite 8791, 5 Brayford Square, London E1 0SG, United Kingdom. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under ZC084234.

For any privacy question or request, write to [email protected].

02Which rules we follow

  • Turkey: the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). The details are in the KVKK notice.
  • United Kingdom: the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. The details are in the GDPR privacy notice.
  • European Union: the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The details are also in the GDPR privacy notice.
  • Marketing messages: Turkish Law No. 6563 and the UK and EU e-privacy rules; we send news and offers by e-mail only if you agreed to them.

03What data we process

  • While you browse: the technical data needed to run and protect the site (IP address, browser details). If you allow it, Google Analytics measures which pages are visited and whether the form was sent; the Cookie Policy has the details. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
  • In forms and meetings: name, company, e-mail, phone, your message, your kind of business and your answers to our questions, the meeting time or call-back time you chose, and your choice about news e-mails.
  • When you become a Coudy customer: the contact details of your company and its representatives, for the contract and invoicing.
  • The business data you enter in Coudy: your company owns it and is responsible for it; we process it only on your behalf. How it is protected is set out in the Data Policy and the Data Processing Agreement.

04Why we process it

  • To answer your request, arrange a demo or a meeting and prepare a quote.
  • To install, run, update and support the Coudy service.
  • To protect the site and its forms against abuse.
  • If you agreed, to measure how the site is used and improve it (Google Analytics).
  • To meet our legal duties, such as tax and accounting.
  • To send you news and offers by e-mail, if you agreed to them.

05Where data is kept and who it is shared with

We don't sell your personal data or share it for advertising. We work only with these providers, and only as far as the service needs:

  • Servers: the site, form and meeting records and Coudy's licence and telemetry service run on Codian's servers in data centres in the European Union (OVHcloud and AWS), under the EU's data protection rules.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): the site's network and form security (Turnstile).
  • Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC (USA): measuring how the site is used, only if you agreed (Google Analytics). What you type into the forms is never sent to Google.
  • An e-mail delivery service: to deliver your request to us and our confirmation e-mails to you.
  • Coudy never sends your business data abroad: on the server in the package it stays in a data centre in Turkey, on your own server wherever you choose; nothing but telemetry is transferred abroad. The Data Policy has the details.

06How long we keep it

  • Form requests: at most 2 years after the request is settled, then deleted or anonymised.
  • The irreversible digest of your IP address used to protect the forms: 1 day at most.
  • Google Analytics data: at most 14 months at Google; its cookies 13 months in your browser.
  • Your consent to news e-mails: until you withdraw it.
  • Customer contract and invoicing records: for as long as the law requires.
  • Your business data in Coudy: on the Data Policy's timelines; when you cancel it is handed over to you first, then permanently deleted.

07Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its processing and to object to it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Send your requests to [email protected]; we answer free of charge within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority in Turkey, the ICO in the United Kingdom, or your own country's data protection authority in the EU.

08Children

coudy.app and Coudy are meant for businesses; we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

09Changes

If we change this policy we publish the new version on this page and tell our customers about important changes by e-mail.
